New to kinusaiga? What you’ll need
- Foam board
Owens Corning FOAMULAR NGX Project Panel, 1" thick, cut to your board size.
- Double-sided adhesive sheets
Applied to the foam before you add fabric, these keep every piece in place while you tuck — no glue needed until finishing.
- Craft knife
X-Acto knife with extra blades, plus alcohol prep pads to wipe blades clean.
- Tucking tool
A blunt spatula, bone folder or butter knife to press fabric into the grooves.
- Fabric
Thin, non-stretch cottons work best. Scraps are plenty for most sections.
- Small scissors
For trimming each piece to its section with a little extra around the edge.
- Glue & frame (optional)
A dab of craft glue for loose edges, and a frame or backing to finish.
Getting started
- Cut a double-sided adhesive sheet to fit the foam, peel one side and press it on.
- Print the template at 100% and lay it on your foam.
- Score every black line about 1/4" deep with your craft knife.
- Cut fabric slightly larger than each numbered section.
- Tuck the edges into the grooves — the adhesive holds each piece while you work.
- When your piece is complete, peel the remaining backing and press it onto your frame or backing.
Print at 100% / Actual size. Check boundaries before cutting; fabric totals are estimates, not a guarantee of scrap fit.
